Welcome to UT Medicine San Antonio - the faculty medical practice of the School of Medicine at the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio.
UT Medicine is an academic medical practice. This means it is a private medical practice that is based in a medical school and the doctors are UT School of Medicine faculty members. Many people go to academic medical practices but don't know it. The Mayo Clinic and MD Anderson are both academic medical practices. The MARC
Called the Medical Arts & Research Center, or the "MARC", it is our new state-of-the-art home that houses more than 200 different doctors from the School of Medicine faculty. This new eight story medical building includes more than 30 different clinics, the latest in diagnostic imaging systems, a complete Day Surgery suite on the second floor, and a parking garage for your convenience. You will also find a full-service H-E-B Pharmacy on the first floor as well as the Fresh Start Cafe with a complete menu of breakfast and lunch items.
