UT Medicine San Antonio is made up of the primary care doctors and the specialists from the faculty of the School of Medicine at the UT Health Science Center San Antonio. We are an academic medical practice. This means our doctors are also teachers, and many also do research to improve the practice of medicine. And they also see patients in all forms of medicine. With more than 60 different types of specialists and sub-specialists, our doctors are the experts other doctors turn to for help.
Patient care is our #1 priority.
In order to teach the best medicine, we must practice the best medicine.
Making lives better is our mission. With over 40 years teaching and practicing here in San Antonio, UT Medicine physicians make up the largest group of specialists in South and Central Texas.
Taking care of you is the reason we are here. It is the foundation of all we do including research and education. It is also the measure of how well we are doing in the community. At the end of every day, we look back and ask "Did we make their lives better?"
