About this service
Laboratory services are part of the whole-person care you receive from our clinical teams. If your provider orders lab work, in most cases it can be completed during your scheduled appointment, with no need to visit a separate location or return at a later time.
By offering these services on-site and on-demand, we help you save time and streamline your care through a collaborative, efficient model that puts your needs first.
Lab and test results
Your lab results may appear in your UT Medicine patient portal before your provider has reviewed them. Once reviewed, your provider will notify you through the portal with any next steps or recommendations.
Please note: Lab services are performed by Clinical Pathology Laboratories (CPL) staff. You will receive a separate bill from CPL for lab services provided during your visit.

Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Closed: 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
9th Floor Lab Draw Station
Monday – Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Closed: 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
