About this service

UT Medicine's Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility service offers expert diagnosis and treatment for patients (ages 13 and up) navigating reproductive health concerns. We care for individuals and couples seeking fertility support as well as those managing conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome, irregular menstrual cycles, primary ovarian insufficiency and perimenopausal or menopausal symptoms.

Whether you’re planning a pregnancy, seeking answers about your hormonal health or exploring fertility treatment, we work with you to develop a care plan tailored to your goals, preferences and overall well-being.

A unique collaboration

Through a partnership with UT Health San Antonio, we offer expanded access to fertility procedures, including intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), INVOcell, preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) and third-party reproduction options such as donor eggs, sperm, embryos and gestational carriers.

These procedures are performed on-site at the UT Health San Antonio Reproductive Health and Fertility Center by UT Medicine reproductive endocrinologist Winifred Mak, M.D., Ph.D., a board-certified, fellowship-trained specialist. This collaboration allows patients to receive leading-edge care in one of the region’s most cost-effective fertility programs.
